In DSC society, nothing is bought or sold.
All interaction is based on exchange of understanding.
An exchange is valid only when:
Knowledge or experience is shared
The recipient demonstrably understands it
The exchange does not create domination or dependency
If any of these conditions fail, the exchange is considered void.
To interact with humans—who require measurable frameworks—the Deep Sea Civilization introduced Jule.
Jule is not a currency.
It cannot be saved, traded, invested, or accumulated.
Jule measures a completed exchange of understanding.
It may represent:
Scientific knowledge
Sensory or emotional experience
Biological or cognitive processes
Shared perception or memory
A Jule exists only at the moment an exchange is verified.
After that, it remains solely as a historical record.
The Deep Sea Civilization does not need physical objects.
Humans do.
Coins issued under Deep Sea Exchange are artifacts, not currency.
They function as:
Certificates of verified exchange
Anchors of memory
Public records of contact and understanding
Each coin corresponds to an exchange or discovery that already occurred, often in a parallel universe, and was ethically validated.
Owning a coin does not grant rights, access, or power.
It confirms that an exchange took place.
